Organised as a part of Frames of Representation Festival, this seminar focuses on Łódź Film School and its graduates, looking at the visionary atmosphere and approach of the Łódź Film School in the past and nowadays; reflecting also on its current place within Polish cinema. Ewa Podgórska (Diagnosis), Wojciech Staroń (Argentinian Lesson, Brothers) and other guest speakers will join us to discuss the role played by the institution in the development of their work, and the influence it has had on non-fiction cinema in Poland and throughout Europe.
