What do you do when a chatty passenger sits next to you on the plane and won’t stop talking? This comedy weaves together the interrelated stories of six protagonists all experiencing a sudden onset of social anxiety. Through a combination of astutely-observed situational humour and layer after layer of agonising awkwardness, Panic Attack is a hysterically funny ride. Paweł Maślona’s debut was nominated for awards at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and Polish Film Festival, with Magdalena Popławska taking home a Golden Lion for Best Supporting Actress.
